Nang mapadaan siya sa tapat ng bahay ni Amomongo (ang gorilya), tinanong siya nito: Hoy, Iput-Iput, bakit lagi kang may dala-dalang ilaw? Sumagot si Iput-Iput: Dahil natatakot ako sa mga lamok. Ah, duwag ka pala, ang pang-uuyam ng gorilya.

Once upon a time there lived two good friends -- an iguana and a turtle. They always went fishing together. One day the turtle invited the iguana to go catch fish in a certain pond that he knew of. After they had been there about two hours, the old man who owned the pond came along. The iguana escaped, but the turtle was caught. She was carrying a dead rat, and was flying very fast. The crow called to her, and said, Kasaykasay, where did you get that dead rat that you have?
